One of the main complaints every year after Jewlicious Festival is, "Why is Jewlicious only once a year!?" We agree.

The folks behind Jewlicious Festival are proud to announce our first ever summer festival, Camp Jewlicious. It's a Jewlicious Festival, but in the summer, and at camp.

Camp Activities for 2010 include: sports, swimming, arts & crafts, body painting, horseback riding, climbing, gardening, yoga, hiking, shabbat programs, bonfire, musical havdallah and more.

On top of tons of summer camp fun, an acoustic concert, and a huge Saturday Night Concert Under The Stars, you also have a unique opportunity to learn how to promote and empower your cause from the best of the best at our first ever Grassroots Organizing Summit

Location—

A beautiful Jewish camp and retreat center In the hills of Simi Valley, just forty-five minutes from Los Angeles at Brandeis Bardin Campus of American Jewish University.

Accommodations —

Conference village - hotel-style carpeted cottages each with two double beds and modern private baths/showers, heating and air-conditioning
Camper village - cabins with bunks up to 12 with own bath

Food —

Plentiful, delicious and nutritious kosher food. All meals included, including snacks.

Transportation —

Parking is on-site. We will be helping coordinate carpools - camp@jewlicious.com

Eligibility —

Camp Jewlicious 2010 is geared for Jewish young adults aged 18-36.
Space permitting, we will be selling tickets to the entire community for Saturday Night's Concert Under The Stars.

If you attend any of the following schools, you may be eligible for additional SOREF scholarship funds: LMU, Fullerton, OCC, CSUF, AJU, Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo, Chico, Chapman, Santa Barbara City College, Loyola Marymount, Occidental, Mesa College, Grossmont Community College, Butte Community College, or University of the Pacific contact Rabbi Drew- rabbidrew@socaljss.org

Ran into Matisyahu on tour a few nights ago at his sold-out show in Anaheim and he recorded this for Camp Jewlicious (he is selling out across the country this summer!!!). His touring schedule will keep him from this Jewlicious - but he and Tahlia wanted to be there so very much.

Camp Jewlicious is a Jewish Summer Camp, Music Fest, and grassroots summit all rolled into one fun weekend for young adults at the gorgeous Brandeis bardin camp and conference center.

Moshav is headlining the Sat. Night Show, Rav Shmuel is in town to bring down the house, Marcus Freed will be performing and teaching. And on and on..... Thanks to an angel donor - prices are staying the same - and we have great scholarships for people!

We are thrilled to announce that festival world music rockers MOSHAV will be headlining at Camp Jewlicious!

Consistently rated as one of the best parts of our winter Jewlicious Festival, MOSHAV will be returning to LA in time for Camp.

Imagine the jamming of Phish, mixed with the vocal strength of Pearl Jam and the spiritual lyrics of U2, seasoned with a Middle-Eastern influence and you can begin to describe the unique sound of Moshav. They mix it up, injecting reggae and Middle Eastern rhythms into their rock, giving it an edgy ethnic sound that is hard to resist.

Every show they give 1000 percent, and leave you wanting more.
